Local company Pioneer Manufacturing Distribution Ltd (PMD) has been selected by Fortune 500 company Sealed Air Corporation to distribute its food safety and security and hygiene products, including those under the brand Diversey.

The company has embraced the programme and will lend its support to the 23-year-old goalshooter for her preparation for four months, as well as a special contribution for her own expenses under the terms of the sponsorship.

By May 1, this year Pioneer Manufacturing Distribution Company (PMD) will be making a regional push on the heels of the successful roll-out of a partnership with Sealed Air, the company that acquired Diversey in 2011.

Newcomers Pioneer Manufacturing and Distribution Company Limited (PMD) has acquired the Chloro-do Bleach brand from Colgate-Palmolive for an undisclosed sum.

One of the island's leading bleach manufacturers is blaming careless adults and lax regulations for the many instances where children ingest the product across the island.

As part of their ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility has embraced the programme.  Alfred Thomas, Managing Director of PMD in speaking about the sponsorship said, “We are delighted to be able to participate and in particular, be able to assist in helping a player hone her skills to give us an even better chance of bringing home the trophy”.
